RC Drilling Rigs General Introduction
Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling rig is a type of drilling equipment commonly used in mineral exploration and resource evaluation. It operates by using compressed air to drive a dual-walled drill string, which pumps the drilling cuttings and rock samples up through the center of the drill rods to the surface. The RC drilling method is popular due to its ability to quickly and accurately collect large quantities of high-quality samples in challenging geological conditions, such as hard rock or areas with limited access.
